Leave without a scene
A bad match is not a negotiation. You can end it in one move, and you do not have to explain your whole evening to a person you just met.
Random chat works because either person can leave. That is the feature. Treating every exit as a conflict trains you to stay in rooms you already want to leave.
Before you start
- Stay 18+. If someone seems younger, leave and report.
- Use a name you do not mind a stranger repeating. Skip your workplace, your street, and your school.
- Decide in advance that “I’m heading off” is a complete sentence.
During the chat
Leave when the chat gets sexual without a clear yes, when someone pushes for photos or contact details, or when the tone turns hostile. You do not need a second example to be sure.
A short goodbye is optional. Skip is enough. If you want words, use one line: “Not for me — take care,” then go.
Do not argue someone into being decent. Debate keeps you in the room and gives them more of your time. Block if the product offers it, and report nudity, harassment, or anyone who appears underage.
After you leave
Do not reopen the chat to finish the thought. If you shared something you regret, stop sharing more of it in the next match. A new person is not the audience for the last person’s behavior.
If a conversation shook you, step away from the queue for a few minutes. The next stranger does not have to absorb the previous one.
